Texas had no business being in the playoffs by winning their FCS conference. Hope Washington beats the *** out of them!!

Exactly why FSU - Clemson and a couple other acc schools will be splitting to the SEC or BIG very soon

Maybe, I probably would’ve pick FSU, but mostly cause I would’ve loved to see the SEC fans meltdown. In the end the committee was forced to screw over someone cause we have a poor system. Should’ve been an 8 team playoff from the get go and it should’ve stayed at 8. I’m fine with 12, but I think 8 would’ve been the perfect number.

Also Lol at Michigan drawing Alabama at a 4 seed. 🤣 I wouldn’t be surprised if Alabama is about 3 pt favorite when that game kicks off. Might open as Michigan -1 or something like that, but I like Alabama to win that game.

I hear what you're saying but qb with concussion should be back. What more could fsu do besides go undefeated 🤔

There was going to be controversy anyway and will be when going to 12. Just not as much as this year

There is an ncaa rule called The Alabama Exemption. It is based on the mysterious phenomenon that every week, no matter what, some telecaster bozo will declare Alabama to be the best team in the country during their broadcast.
Toadies with votes will comply.
Bama can lose, sometimes twice, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter their ridiculous noncon schedule or the fact they struggled to win all their legit games
They are the best team by default.

Committee made the right decision. FSU is not an elite team nor would they have been competitive in the CFP without Jordan Travis.

SEC has won 4 straight national championships and 6 of the last 9. That conference deserves the benefit of the doubt until they are defeated when it counts

This is why I like the NFL more then college. ACC 6-4 against SEC. FSU got screwed!!

FSU didn't look that great all year and had their season saved thanks to Clemson using a former walk-on, grad student, as their kicker who shanked a 30 yarder when the pressure was on.

They also had close wins against fairly average teams.

5-7 Florida Team 9 point win after being behind halfway through the 4th quarter. A team Georgia beat by 23
7-5 Miami Team 7 point win

The Bama, Texas, and Georgia dynamic is interesting. Had Georgia won last night, I think Texas would have been left out and it would have been Georgia, Michigan, Washington, FSU. But that loss flipped all sorts of things and made Texas have a bigger win, which made Bama's only loss an even stronger loss.

Unfortunately this was a year where who you played and how you beat them mattered.

This ought to EXPLODE the ACC ahead of schedule.

FSU should be throwing their hands up right now. What more do you want than a P5 undefeated conference champ?

They'll look to come into SEC or B1G asap now. It's not even a matter of next year expanding to 12 teams (as this year has proven the need). They know in the new exchanged playoffs, 2 SEC AND 2 B1G teams have a better chance at making it than 2 (let alone 1) ACC teams making it.

Get ready for the realignment madness to ensue!

IDK, I kind of like Michigan in the Rose Bowl. BTW, they better pray that Georgia beats FSU.

12-team playoff is a year late at best. the 4-team thing has been a travesty since day one. tcu and baylor both screwed a few years back.

Is that matchup for sure, or just very likely? Nevertheless, if FSU beats UGA their team and fanbase will claim they are the true champions. And they will have a good argument for that, far better case than UCF had.

This would be worst case scenario for the bowl committee.

My understanding is that the #1 seed chooses the venue, and Michigan will certainly choose the Rose Bowl over the Sugar Bowl.

This decision is absolutely outrageous. The mental gymnastics they had to go through in order to “justify” screwing over an undefeated P5 champion is just ridiculous. It makes me want to boycott college football forever.

They REALLY wanted to get an SEC team in. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
