We do have 4 scholarships left. I highly doubt he is one of the two players floated. 3 string guy who has size, seems like he can rebound. Not a bad depth signing. I look at as an insurance policy in case of an injury. At least he has D1 experience. Pennies on the dollar.

seriously, anyone know if this was 1 of the 2 bigs we were expecting? Because...he is neither of the names that were floated...lol. Should we read this as....we are out on at least 1 of those other 2?
Yeah, this isn’t moving the needle for me like we were told to expect. Hopefully there’s another one coming

I also think they will definitely pursue 2 more bigs, then go with whatever they can get with the remaining money. For the posters here who were ready to jump off the GW bridge who have no patience and just no clue at all and have been killing coach Shaheen pound sand as this could be the deepest and most talented roster assembled here. Those forget Willard’s last class a total abomination. If only SHU had 15 mil to spend.

Well, I remember he took some at end of game time, but he wasn’t a rotational player.

Yes he took a bunch of 3’s but he wasn’t a real 3 point threat during true game time.
He was end of bench guy who really only saw time during blowouts from what I recall, but he used to launch up 3s, something at the time was unheard of from a big man.

"...this could be the deepest and most talented roster assembled here." This sounds like a stretch. Will we again be picked for eleventh?

His first roster was way more talented on paper than this group. But this roster seems definitely more talented than last year for sure, and arguably the prior year (which featured a bunch of highly rated prep kids in year 2 after not performing as freshman).
