The only reason the Left latched onto this "fake news" that ABC reported is their hatred for Trump is so strong, they actually are eager to believe all the lies they've told about him...ANY lies. They are hoping that by creating the narrative, and repeating it often enough that it will become de-facto reality. They did it with GW Bush and the "he's stupid" memes. It was reported often enough, and all of their stories about him reinforced the narrative so much so that it became part of the popular culture and was believed by the vast majority of Americans. Bush was NOT stupid...or undeducated! His academic record credentials were stronger than Obama's or Clinton's, and we actually never even saw Obama's College records. Clinton had a reputation as an excellent policy wonk, but he was a miserable student by most accounts. The media created and fed the narrative about Bush's lack of intelligence and it became a popularly held belief.

They've tried to do the same thing with Trump and this collusion story. They will not let it go, even after Mueller finishes his work and reports no evidence of any collusion. They will continue to insist Trump was elected fraudulently and he did it with the help of the Russians who unfairly smeared Hillary and caused her to lose votes.

This Brian Ross knee jerk report, the New York Times splash last week that Flynn was now "cooperating" with Mueller, the hysteria over the indictments two weeks ago which have nothing to do with the election, it's all meant to build one massive narrative that Trump stole this election and colluded with Russians to do it. Look at how Leftist members of the OT forum so easily spit up the bilge the media has been pedaling on this story? They talk as if it's a settled investigation, never bothering to look past the ongoing narrative into the substance of what Mueller is either charging or looking into, or ignoring on the part of Democrats who are real colluders.

But the Democrats don't fit the narrative...Trunmp does and one way or another the media is determined to prove he at least met with a bunch of Russians before the election and must have been up to no good. It's disgusting and a huge disservice to average Americans who don't have time to keep up with all of the ins and outs like we do here on the OT forum. The media is hoping to build critical mass on the story, so it becomes at least natually suspicious to average viewers of not established fact.

My advice to anyone upset with this ongoing smear campaign against Trump to discredit his legitimate victory is to turn off the man news media. If no one's watching...their propaganda machine runs out of power.

Assuming what is posted here is all the truth of what was discussed, it doesn't matter in my opinion. I have a problem with the Trump transition team representing the country before the inauguration. I have an equal or even bigger problem with all the lying and deflection the administration put forward to the FBI and the public. Why aren't republicans equally upset with the president and team blatantly lying? And don't try to say they didn't lie.

You mean like...
  • Hillary's tons of lies you cared nothing about
  • Holder lying to Congress under oath and nothing ever happening except a wrist slap
  • Clapper lying to Congress under oath and nothing ever happening
  • The entire Obama administration lying about ACA in order to get it passed
  • Comey lying to Congress under oath
  • Loretta Lynch telling Comey to call it an issue or whatever
  • IRS pleading 5th and never going any farther
Please do tell me more

An incoming administration needs to be having those conversations prior to inauguration so that they can hit the ground running on day 1. The prior administration should actually be facilitating those conversations and should NOT be making ANY foreign policy deals or decisions once the election is held in November, such as sanctions against Russia.

That being said, there is no reason for Flynn, or anyone else, to lie about the conversations they had prior to the inauguration.

2016, typo, you know what I meant.

Flynn lied about Russian payments, duh. That deal wasn't about some contacts between election and inauguration. I think you are one of the most gullible people. You think trump asked Comey to "let Flynn go" was over some phone call between election and inauguration? That's funny.

Manafort and Gates not related to the campaign? You have to be kidding. You think the Russians were helping trump out of the goodness of their heart? You think they just wanted to throw money at trump campaign people because they were swell guys? Mueller has followed the money trail. They thought they could get away with it by the shady overseas accounts and money laundering.

LMAO!

I honestly feel sorry for you.

LOL! I mean really. LOL!
