Hopefully all right for Saturday. May have to play with a small splint. At least it is not on shooting hand.

Love some of these doctors on here that can diagnose someone in 10 seconds.

Somebody calm my nerves. Isn't this the same thing Terrence had in 2012 that messed him up for a few weeks?

I've done that a couple of times. Once, the finger was laying backwards at about a 45 degree angle. It will be alright
but swollen and hurt like hell for a few days.

Looked like a dislocation to me too, especially the way he reacted, calling it a sprain now

If it were a dislocation he'd be in the emergency room right now. I dislocated mine and spent about an hour getting it worked on.

He might be alright but this looks like a dislocation to me... We'll see how his hand feels tomorrow. Will probably get pretty sore and swell.

When you are a doctor you can diagnose the issue. He dislocated his finger. If it goes right back into place, then it will sore and he may have to wear a splint to protect the finger. SInce he came right back to the bench, probably a good sign.

Yeah, sorry about that guys. Heat of the moment for me.

I just see this all the time when something bad happens to one of our players, like when Anthony Davis went down for a bit in the Baylor game a few years ago and I just get worked up about it. I hope Aaron will be fine like all of you, but I shouldn't have made that doctor comment. Sorry about that NavyKat.

Splint in place for Aaron. Did not try to spin everyone up. But the dislocation happened. No sense acting like it didn't.

He's in, but still... it's a dislocation. Much like an ankle sprain, its probably going to hurt more tomorrow.

when shooting with a sprain in the non shooting hand, he will depend more on wrist flick in his shooting hand, and he will be fine..

Just a sprained finger Navycat, he will be fine with some tape and toughness. I was concerned myself when I saw it.

What on earth was wrong with the op? Nothing he said was inaccurate. People looking for stuff to complain about.

He obviously can play with it, but I guess we'll see on Saturday how effective he will be.

Praying for a complete recovery in record breaking time.

So what if we saw him in the game... did any of you all see his shot?

I'm not trying to bring anyone down, it is just reality that's all. It will most likely be a "pain threshold" thing for Aaron in the next game. Not the best news in the world, but injuries happen.

I dislocated my middle finger in a mosh pit less than a year ago (hammered)...it hurt initially, it hurt when I popped it back into place (myself), and it hurt for a few days afterward. Not the same sport at all, but I played softball the next day. He's gonna have some swelling, and it's not gonna bend like it normally would. But as others have said, thank goodness it wasn't on his shooting hand. Tape it up! He should be fine...
