Teams like Tennessee, UCLA and Texas are WIDE OPEN with rosters and they have the money to go after whomever they want.
Plus, international players seem to transfer a lot. (Maybe it’s just me). I expected this one though because of that and the fact she played very very well down the stretch.

This doesnt make sense with Lana leaving. Maybe she is on a tour of US and wants to see the country
Very sad to see her decide to leave. Certainly doesn't qualify for the "forever a Tar Heel" tag in my mind but I wish her good luck and hope that this works out for her.

Dook will certainly remember Elina as “forever a Tar Heel”. She drilled them in that regular season finale. I wish her well and hope she is on the Finnish National Team in a few years.

Maybe she is doing what Dixon and Dennis are doing testing the waters and has left room to return if it does not work out.
You could be accurate, maybe she is just testing the market. Would be interesting if she does return for her junior year, most said she is a great teammate.
One thing I remember from interviews with EA/LG was that they were in the gym shooting and working on their every day together. Love the drive because that's what it takes to become elite.

I could be wrong here, but I believe this was her plan from the beginning. Go somewhere develop, and go back. With how loaded UCLA was this year, she would have seen limited playing time again. Still yet, all the best to her!
1 available scholarship for a best available if wanted. I don’t see any glaring needs roster wise.
Feel like we need another ball handler - not a star but a decent backup. RK is injury prone, can’t rely on her for a full season. And our star recruit has a history of shoulder issues. Love her, but can’t have Barker running point in the ACC.
Looking at options for a backup 4: Hilary Fuller from Belmont. She's 6'2 and averaged 14/4/1 with 1.5 blocks a game.

Really happy for her. She's a great kid, and UCLA seems like a great culture, and people should be where they feel they will thrive.
Why do we need a backup 4? We have TQ, Astakhova and Hull that can all play the 4.
If we are adding, I would agree. Just be on the safe side. Maybe a lower level PG.
We need a true 5 if we want to go beyond the sweet 16. If you look at all the teams that were in the final four a week ago, they all had 5s that could really play. This what we are going to need. Duke is loaded like someone just said. They have 4s and 5s. I think the big girl from NC State would fit in nicely. She is 6'6". I am sure that are only ones in there is well. We need another insurance policy at that position. If something was to happen to CT, we are going to be in trouble. The jury is still out on BT. Bringing another 5 in is sending a message to her that you better work your blank off and all areas of your game this offseason or we just brought in your replacement. The ball is in your court BT on whether or not you are going to play.
