Houston 81-28 with 9 minutes to go. Slick Texas Southern rims. I thought that was a misprint.
If UCONN beats Memphis does that all but lock up the #4 seed?
We win the last 2 and we’re locked.
Memphis and us both lose one and we’re locked.
We lose one and Memphis wins out it’s a tiebreaker scenario.
I hope Memphis holds the lead. If they do it is likely UCONN doesn’t win another regular season game. And the team that is bad because they’re in such a terrible conference will end up 6-12 in conference play.
Haha yeah but recruits won’t want to play teams like Tulsa... it has NOTHING to do with uconn being a lower tier conference team.
This thread is as good a place to add this comment. RPI now 76.

Two Takeaways: 1. Cincinnati has to play much better to advance in the NCAA Tournament 2. Tulsa is a legitimate potential bid stealer in the American Conference.

This is what makes Houston so dangerous. 4-5 quality outside shooters. Not sure what works against them. Press Gray with the ball high and make him get rid of it and take you chances. They don’t have much in terms of inside presence (offense or defense) but they shoot the ball so well. Need to play a Hoosier offense, take the air out of the ball, long possessions. Lots of ball movement. Make them play a lot of defense and move and hopefully tire their legs out.Houston 81-28 with 9 minutes to go. Slick Texas Southern rims. I thought that was a misprint.
At halftime:
ECU: 13
Houston 3 pointers: 12
Regarding Houston....closely guard the perimeter in man and have a rim protector on the back end. Length will give them issues. They are obviously a bad matchup for us.
