ECU getting SMOKED 63-13 at half vs UH and Temple rolling UCF 73-53 with under 3 to play.

I hope Memphis holds the lead. If they do it is likely UCONN doesn’t win another regular season game. And the team that is bad because they’re in such a terrible conference will end up 6-12 in conference play.

UCONN should never lose at home to a depleted Memphis team. Ollie should quit on the spot if that happens.

Haha yeah but recruits won’t want to play teams like Tulsa... it has NOTHING to do with uconn being a lower tier conference team.

Just imagine how great UCONN would be if today they were playing NC State (5th place ACC) or Providence (5th place Big East) right now instead of lowly Memphis (5th place AAC).

I bet they’d STILL be losing by 20 right now?!?!?!?!?!

Still Luv Tubby. My number 1 coach at TU for this long time fan. He is doing an amazing job at Memphis with average talent.

This thread is as good a place to add this comment. RPI now 76.

Two Takeaways: 1. Cincinnati has to play much better to advance in the NCAA Tournament 2. Tulsa is a legitimate potential bid stealer in the American Conference.

Rothstein said really nice things about us in the studio after the game was over. They also complained about us not fouling but I was good with that. I didn’t want them to cover the spread.

Let’s just beat ECU and temple and finish the number 4 seed. Then steal that bid

Houston 81-28 with 9 minutes to go. Slick Texas Southern rims. I thought that was a misprint.

At halftime:

ECU: 13
Houston 3 pointers: 12
This is what makes Houston so dangerous. 4-5 quality outside shooters. Not sure what works against them. Press Gray with the ball high and make him get rid of it and take you chances. They don’t have much in terms of inside presence (offense or defense) but they shoot the ball so well. Need to play a Hoosier offense, take the air out of the ball, long possessions. Lots of ball movement. Make them play a lot of defense and move and hopefully tire their legs out.

Regarding Houston....closely guard the perimeter in man and have a rim protector on the back end. Length will give them issues. They are obviously a bad matchup for us.

You can't let Houston even attempt a 3-pointer. They go on a feeding frenzy when they hit three-pointers.
