AAC 2017

The American has held its own against the other major basketball conferences to date.

I have the AAC at 21-19 against the Top 7 Basketball Conferences in head to head matches.

The conferences included are the ACC, A-10, B-12, B-10, P-12, SEC, Big East.

Not bad IMHO.

Temple has 5 wins
Wichita has 4 wins
Cincy and Houston have 3
SMU and UCF have 2
Tulsa and UCONN have 1

The AAC would nudge the PAC12 out for 6th but for USF and ECU. Pretty good size gap between the top 5 and the AAC and PAC12.

It's been a pretty good year. Probably 4 bids. But it still feels like there's potential for more. Except ECU, they'll always be terrible.

The Bracket Project Matrix has four teams in from the American. WSU (2), Cinn (7), SMU (10), Temple (10). Houston and UCF are also appearing on a few brackets.

And all of those teams are landing some solid recruits; and recruiting is about 90 percent of college BB.
