AA or BB rows

I’m coming down to a game in November, and have found tickets in the AA or BB rows. They are surprisingly cheaper than seats halfway up the lower bowl. They’re practically on the court, is there something I’m missing? Seems odd, too odd.

My thoughts exactly. But they’re a fair bit cheaper than tickets like halfway up the lower bowl... makes me wonder what the catch is.

There are double letters in the upper also. At least there were before the renovation. That might have changed.

What game are you looking at? I just want to verify your story. I promise I won't buy them out from under you while you're busy wondering what's wrong with the shorter line at the DMV.

As far as I know, the upper level no longer has double letter rows. But it wouldn’t hurt to call the ticket office at UK just to be sure.

Only thing I would add is sometimes too close can get you blocked by something (i.e. cheerleaders or something like that), and if it's baseline, would not be a great view of the other side of the court. Halfway up would give you a much better view of the game.

Correct. The upper level no longer has double letters. I would just advise the op to make sure of the section, so he is comparing apples to apples. But, don’t try to over analyze the prices. Some of the ticket holders just want to get rid of the tickets, not make a profit. And don’t forget that the games are priced differently, but if you use a legitimate site, you should be fine.

Yeah, their site can be a little confusing at times. But, I have season tickets in uppers and I'm in Row T and there are several rows behind us so I do know they go to Row Z. Seats are still great in T and I'm right on mid court so I don't complain about the view from there at all. Do hope to try to move down a few more rows next year though.
