The kid was a 5-star his sophomore year and was around the #20 overall recruit in his class, he will be good enough to play/start at just about any program his freshman year.

With that said...we don’t need these media problems. The NCAA has seemed to get a lot more loose (for the better, minus UNC) with their rulings on who is cheating (does anyone even expect the NCAA to do anything about Sean Miller or Kansas? I don’t). Basically, I wouldn’t be shocked if he does play college basketball, even though 5 years ago he would already be ruled ineligible.

I think you're entirely missing Dat's point, Show. He's saying you were one of the people in Zion's corner all along. Not everyone was.

As for Wall and Bagley....yes, there was division among Duke fans in regards to both. I don't think it was hostile, but people stood on both sides. Wall has some character things and there were question marks surrounding his high school. Some felt we should stay away, others wanted him.

As far as I can tell, he's not taking any kind of shot at you, or anyone else for that matter.

There have been some recruits some of us here weren't too keen on over the years who we ended up recruiting and even getting. K has surprised some of us w/ who he has been able to work with over the years. I wouldn't underestimate his ability to work w/ Lamar Ball if LaMelo is a player he wants.

I don’t think so Datt- with the parents he’s had to deal with the last few years especially, i can’t see him wanting to even remotely entertain dealing with that psycho.

Here’s a non basketball relateded story about the Ball family that further shows how ridiculous they can be (more specifically LaVar). I’m not sure how many wrestling fans there are on here but either last year or the year before they were on WWE Monday Night Raw, I can’t remember if Lonzo was on there but I know LaVar, LiAngelo and LaMelo were and they did a segment on the show where they came out to the ring and were trash talking a wrestler and during the segment either LiAngelo or LaMelo dropped the N word and WWE caught a lot of backlash because of it. Needless to say, I’ve got a pretty sure they won’t be invited back to WWE again anytime soon considering the WWE is still in the PG Era.
