Maybe but it's more likely that Shaq is just showing love to a guy he got to know over the past two years at JuCo Showcases.
That’s kind of what I was getting at. Figured Shaq must know him. Maybe he can mention his name to our staff. And our staff to him.

Folks, looking around d1 forums on Shaq Carter. Don’t sleep on this kid. Lots of very positive reviews. I expect to see better chemistry.
Good question. I didn't watch/keep up with him because he was committed to Rutgers. I tracked about a dozen "available" JuCo guys this season (which is about a dozen more than I tracked in the last six years).
You go to juco to do one thing. Get a basketball scholarship. I followed the progressions of teammates and saw how hard the program pushed for everyone to get a scholarship. They market their players 24/7. Can’t be sure but I do believe not everyone had scholarship and they were trying to get exposure.
I could see that. Combo guard but can still handle the ball. We still don’t have a good enough ball handler though, but I expect Baker to take a big leap this offseason. Kid can chase the NBA.
