A look at baseball stats

I decided to plot batting averages only to see how things have played over the course of the season. If you follow the team, it's not going to be anything new to you. It's just interesting to me to see it in graph form.

Westburg, MacNamee, and Skelton have steadily been trending down.

Foscue has been impressively consistent.

Allen has been hot for a while now.

Good stuff. Allen has been red hot lately. To move your average that much after 40+ games is really difficult to do.

One of the craziest stats to me from this team is that Ginn only allowed 11 XBH all season (10 doubles & 1 HR). Him and Small faced the same number of batters this season, and Small gave up nearly twice as many (20).
