Hertzel has been the most talented & artistic writer in W.Va. for a long time. Hall of Fame type career of writing.

Most talented and artistic writer for a long time? [pfftt] If you knew him personally, you'd feel differently. 
his classic, as I recall, what the "chicken article" he did as a reporter for the D-P several years ago....... The extremely clear intent of the article, if memory serves, was saying WVU was afraid to play Marshall in football. It was a classic Raese hit piece.........
I shouldn't have said anything. My criticisms are based on personal problems that I've had with him on press row and his writings over the year. I am biased. Feel free to enjoy him and his content and writing style. I've been around here long enough to know better. [WVU]
