When will Corridor H be completely finished to I-81 and make that a drive-able option to the DC area and the Outer Banks ?

Has that Hyperloop HQ been finalized and is that coming soon ?

They still have to complete a decent stretch well before you get to Davis, and another stretch west of Wardensville to the Virginia border. Last I knew though, I didn't think Virginia was going to do the stretch from I-81 to the WV border. Not sure where that stands these days.

Virginia's been fighting it. Gonna take Fed involvement to get it pushed all the way through to I-81.

Treehuggers are ramping up to fight the last 10 miles from Parsons to Davis. I believe that WV is going to finish the section from Wardensville to the VA state line. That might put some pressure on VA to get off their asses.

Virginia has no intention of paying for that road. They have a lot more road projects more important than finishing 48. Northern Virginia, Richmond and Southside, even addressing 81 are top of their list. It will take big time Federal pressure and money for it to ever happen. It's just the reality of the situation.

Let’s hope it’s not finished. The older I get, the more I realize how fortunate WVians are to be secluded from the crime and craziness of those libtard cesspools. Appreciate local roads and the mountains. WV truly is America’s best kept secret. It takes age and wisdom to appreciate it.

It's a 15 mile project for the state of Virginia, one that would cost them a small fortune through that particular terrain, and really, there's not a whole lot in it for them.

Thanks for the reply... no need for the extra rhetoric.... Just looking for information.

WV finishing to state line will not affect Virginia finishing to 81. Honestly, Virginia's economy will not be affected by finishing 48. And it simply boils down to that.

I would think West Virginians would be more interested when the I-73/74 corridor is going to be complete.

I'm fairly certain the Hyperloop was scrapped. I'm not sure of the exact cause but Virgin laid off about half of the Hyperloop staff.

The hyperloop is a fictional dream.

Can you imagine the dangers of creating a vacuum large enough to allow for frictionless transportation at high rates of speed? One little rupture and you could have catastrophic damage.

Seems like some wild stuff.
