It's only three halves of basketball I'm all in with Freeman. Need more Freemans and less of the occasional sulking and loafing we've gotten over the last decade from the likes of JR Inman, Dane Miller and Kadeem.

I hear you, Shill. I am all in with Freeman, also. He has been through a lot in his life and seems like a good kid that is a fan of team basketball. That is what will turn RU around. Our team passing, getting out in transition, and giving high effort defensively. Foreman working on his FT will help this team win games this season.

its refreshing seeing such a well rounded player at the high post. if he can consistently hit a 12-15 foot jumper at the top of the key, its only going to open this offense up so much more for easy high low passes to a cutting foreman. this team's going to take its lumps, but at least we've got hope

Absolutely. Also, like Coach Jordan said about Goode, the threat is just as important as the action. Teams knowing he can shoot will allow them to not sag on him and that will open up room for the offense/freeman and what not.

I think 13-15 wins is doable. Next year I think we can get into the 17 range. We shall see.I like the Sander,freeman combo.

No "deification" of Mack and Jack on my part. You make good points on Freeman. I do like him. What I don't see, at least not yet, is that we will have the ability to score against the bigger and better front line players in the Big 10. I see that the new guys are team players and I like that. In the end though, a team needs scoring talent too. Not sure where that will come from.

On a related matter, I don't see this team as one that will effectively run. Again, a talent thing. I like Eddie though and remain hopeful.

You are correct, Freeman has yet to prove it against a B1G frontcourt. But I think he will based on what I've seen so far, and also his pedigree (JUCO all-american). I think we'll all be happy if he can!

It's true, only two games. Team needs to keep rolling and get these early wins. I think you need some beef in the paint in the big, and freeman might be able to do that. Jack was a 4 that played like a 3. If freeman can play like a four, it will bee a positive.Just gotta get this early wins so EJ can get a recruit.
