930 tip. Sick of this crap

Driving back to Texas from Kentucky Thursday and Friday so I like it. What I don't like is missing half the first round.

Silver lining to the start time...
1. Cats will have had plenty of time to watch several upsets by the time their game rolls around on Friday night so, hopefully it inspires them to play well.

2. Max rest. Cats will get to rest basically all week by not having to play on Thursday. This is something Cal has complained about in the past so, maybe Barnhart actually helped in that regard?

3. By playing on Friday night Cats get an extra day of sleep in their own beds. Very valuable to a young team.

As an aside....we will probably get the late game on Sunday as well. Maybe 7:30pm start time.

As the higher seed, we should get the advantage of a longer time to rest between games. With this schedule, we will get less time to recover before playing Witchita or Dayton. This happens to us almost every year, because of ratings.

Awesome. I'll be in China so it can watch it at 10:30 in the morning and post the score here so you can bet on it before you watch it. Thank me later. I'll be sporting UK garb all over China for the next two weeks. Any UK fans in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Changchun?

In Bangkok. Love this tip time. Missed the entire SEC tourney because the afternoon games just don't work with our schedule. May every game be a night game!

Read this in Sunday's cartoon section. "Remember, It's not winning or losing that counts Yeah. It's how you lay the BLAME!

Afraid not. I live in Wuhan. If you're going to be in Shanghai I can recommend The Shed. They will basically be open 24 hours that first weekend. Also, with the time springing forward, we are now on the "equivalent" of eastern time. So a 9:30pm tip is a 9:30am tip. Makes it much easier to follow being exactly 12 hours ahead.

Excellent! Thanks Seth! I"lol check out the Shed in Shanghai! There will be a good size group with me, so hopefully we can cheer them on and show them how it's done back in KY!

I watched a couple games there last year. Showed up at 7am for one of our games and woke up the manager. He hadn't got people out until 5am. I planned to just have breakfast but he said since he was awake and drinking, so was I. I had a drunk nap after the game.

It's Friday, calm down. I love it. Two full days of games before we play.

Why is that good?

Is there a TV listing yet to see which channel games will be on? I can't remember if we were on CBS or one of those alternate channels like TBS, TNT, and TruTV. Might have to add TruTV to my SlingTV plan for a couple weeks.

I don't get off until 10 so that works out great for me.

There is a day off between games. Non factor
