The last 3 years our success formula is simple. For those who can’t figure it out:

We win when we play with energy, play strong defense and rebound. Our scoring feeds off those.

That ain’t gonna cut it.

So is the RAC worth 44 points?
Well, the opponent is another variable. Had we lost in a home and home to NU tonight and scored only 49, the question of what's the RAC worth would be more applicable.

Yep... and we needed the miracle at Purdue in the regular season finale to clinch the "NCAA bid."
It’s tough to win on the road in the big 10. Last 5 seasons with fans and road team winning percentage is only ~35%.

Harper looked like he wanted to be anywhere other than where he was. On the court
And Pike takes no responsibility for that, only the teen and very early 20's players do because Pikes a nice guy, so why criticize him according to the majority of Kool Aid drinkers on this board. Hey he got us to the first NCAA tournament since 91.....wow!!!! These clowns are about criticizing the 2&3 star players who Rutgers was their best offer, but never the coach who signed them and is also the current coach.

Serious thought..but one that doesn't factor in the history of our road performance (or lack there of). Wonder if Pike got on Ron after the UM end game fiasco. Wouldn't be surprised if both he and Knight got a talking to. I could see that happening and Harper getting deflated by it. Pure spit balling but IMO not out of the world of potential.

TRUE.. I was begging them to push it on missed PSU shots.. even if they did not have numbers.. just try to ramp up the energy via forcing a transition game. I did not start out demanding to see that.. but as the half-court offense failed.. I begged to see it.

Harper's effort out there looked like me after 2 hours of pick up ball at 37
Lmao. Have you ever played against athletes at this level? I played pickup against Mike O’Koren when we was retired and he made some really good “pickup heroes” look like they were standing still. Stop. No keep going I need the laughs.

Yes when he looks like he’s jogging he beats you when you’re sprinting. Don’t compare 37 year old non athlete to a 22 year old athlete who is at a whole different level than you or I. That’s what I’m talking about.

Ever watch the NBA? They look like they’re walking half the time. Ever watch the refs running alongside NBA players? They look like they’re sprinting. You and I are like the refs. Trust me.

You don't get it. It was a joke about his hustle and conditioning that went wayyy over your head apparently
