1993 was the year that we showed the nation that we could play with the Florida schools. A big change that year was the speed we added to our linebacking core. A recommended suggestion by our good friend, Bobby Bowden.
Why did the change seem so simple? In one year we looked like a different defensive squad. Was it strength and conditioning?

I feel like any change defensively we’ve tried to incorporate since Solich, it took 3-4 year or sometimes it never could materialized.
