Mount Airy played at East Surry that Friday night!!!
Perhaps so but September 11, 2001 was on a Tuesday. Flight attendant on 93 was a 1981 graduate of Eastern Randolph High School. ER holds a memorial each year at 9AM to honor her sacrifice. She was a wife and mother of two young children. Also a friend and classmate of both my wife and me.
