Not that I think this will happen, but zero turnovers and it’s probably 42-17 Huskers or something like that.

That’s so sad. 9 in two years. #coachingJust against Illinois the last two years our offense gave up. 5 last year and 4 the year before.

That was one of my personal low points in all of my years of fandom. Just brutal.Eh, I remember a game not so long ago when we had 8 TOs in a single game and lost 9-7 to an Iowa State team with a backup QB who couldn't throw a ball past the line of scrimmage.

While some can be inexcusable, INT’s are not all equal. Sometimes I’m ok with the consequences of trying to make a play, but the fumbles are really a lack of focus 90% of the time. Coaches need to drill it into players’ heads.
I don’t remember the 9 vs IL, but I know there were plenty of fumbles in there.
I remember the heat Niles Paul was given for his fumble down the sideline. Made a great catch, tip-toeing the sideline, and his athleticism went against him as the ball hit his leg and fumbled into the end zone. Not becasue of ball insecurity, but to stay in-bounds to make a monster play.
1:00 in or so for Niles mishap. But there are 7 others.
