I freaking HATE these late games. We should get the prime time game every time we're on the floor. Should always be the 7:00 to 7:30 game when on a weekday. Period.

Someone help me to understand how/why this is an advantage? Why does the NCAA put us in this slot? Or is it CBS? Why isn't the top seed in the region, indeed the entire field, not given the best time slots?

Why do they do that crap to us? What do they do that crap to ANY team. No game should be starting that late in the eastern time zone. Start the damn games an hour earlier.

CBS selects the game they think will get the best ratings as the latest game. This is strictly business and UK fans shouldn't get upset about it. Just the way that it is when you're 36-0.

I get off at 10:30.

I prefer the late starts because I don't have a "normal" schedule. Midnight for me is like 7:30 p.m. for regular people.

So 9:45pm is the start, ends at 11:00pm.. So I'll essentially have calmed down by 12:30am for a 1:00am bedtime and a completely useless Friday at work. Lol.

Does that mean we're going to be on TBS? Other match ups that night will be WSU vs ND, Arizona vs. Xavier, and (likely) UNC vs Wisconsin. Don't understand why we wouldn't be on CBS and in the main slot. With possibly the exception of Wisconsin vs. UNC those aren't exactly marquee match ups that move the intrigue meter.

I agree, that is why they do it, but UK would get the best rating no matter what time they played! If your going to give UK that time slot, let them play Friday at least, lol GO CATS!!!

We will be the late game Saturday, but either way, someone will have to play the late game Thursday and the early game Saturday.

It's not like this is the first year this has ever happened. It's like this EVERY year.

Our fans are brain dead sometimes.

That's bad for most of you. I get the reasons behind it, but 9:45 is just too late. Especially on a weeknight. And we all know it won't start until after 10. A lot of non UK fans will go to bed at halftime.

No we aren't. Some of us actually think about our players and staff. They live, work and go to school in the eastern time zone. They should be given preferential treatment as the top seed. The west coast is not a basketball hot bed and their ratings will always be lower than the midwest and east.

Preferential treatment doesn't mean they schedule every game to appease UK fans. Some of you think we should play all our games in Rupp at 7:15 with Tony Delk refereeing, playing against the lowest remaining seed and they all have to start out with 2 fouls each.

Drink some warm milk and take a freaking nap after work and try to stay up until Midnight like adults you freaking babies.

i'll bet anything that duke as a 1 seed will be getting the benefit of playing the early game on Friday giving them more rest than the lower seed in their bracket. It is total BS that we have to start at basically 10 as the number one overall seed. Should Wisconsin advance tonight they will also get the benefit of the early game in their bracket

For selfish reasons I'm glad. I work till 6 so I don't have to rush home like a #%$)% mad hatter to watch the game. Instead, I can grab some grub, some beverage, and kick back (until the game starts of course)

Pretty sure college kids are used to staying up until midnight genius. The top seed never gets the best time slot. The teams with the best ratings (Duke, Kentucky, etc) nearly always play the late game.

I swear some of you have lost your freaking minds.
