Are the drive thru tests sites still busy? Last week it was my understanding you couldn’t get tested unless you had a dr note, and even then you had to sit in line for a while. But saw a drive thru site on the local news this week and there was one car there - no wait at all.

It’s holding the same pattern throughout. A spike followed by two or three days of lower numbers and then a spike above the previous high. It will be tremendous when the next spike is below the previous high.

This. It spiked Wednesday and Thursday as more test results hit release mode. 94 yesterday to 84 today, may not be a true trend down.

My concern is how Jersey spiked. Will NY be the epicenter of the spread and it just creeps out that way.

The CDC has a interactive map on its website. If you hold your cursor over your state it will give you total number of infections twice a day (morning and evening). If you click on the state it will take you to your states health department.

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/201...irus/2019-ncov/cases-in-us.html#investigation

At your website you can find another interactive map (called a Dashboard) where it gives you a breakdown of infections and deaths for each County and the total number of covid-19 test taken so far (Could not find the total number of test, should be there somewhere ). Last time it was updated is Friday

They are testing like crazy up here. They had a drive thru free testing site yesterday.

Are they using the new, non-invasive test yet? From what Trump and Pence said the original test required the swab to go deep into the sinuses; the new one just swabs the lower levels and isn't uncomfortable.

The MSDH did not include the total number of Covid-19 test samples conducted at the MSDH Lab so far, in this morning's update, but the positives listed are from all sources (MSDH lab tests and other testing facilities). Maybe they are getting ready to add the other testing sources' numbers to the MSDH lab sample testing numbers?
