Are you serious? With the team we had, you said 8-4? Then it's true, the fanbase god***** expectations are lower than ever.
Fire him, keep him... I don’t give a ****. This season ticket holder will be spending Saturdays next fall in the woods instead of at Mountaineer Field. I can listen to it on radio. I’m not putting out good money to see this garbage. This team will be lucky to win 6 games next year. We have no qb and we have no defense.
8-4. Thank God we get to play Kansas, Kansas State, Texas Tech and a I-AA every year, plus had the N.C. State canceled.
Mine too. 8-4. With Gibson as the defensive coordinator that is about the best we will ever be or can hope for.

Is Dana still the only Big 12 coach in history to lose to Kansas and Iowa State in the same season?
Dana lost to a ****** Syracuse team back when we had Geno, etc and he also lost to Kansas.
ECU had two DT's on that team who started in the NFL and were all pro. L Joseph and C J Wilson..
RRs teams also improved each year instead of regressing or being stagnant like Dana’s.
At least rich rod got us there. Can’t say the same for Dana, who has been known to choke in big games and not have his teams ready. Sure RR lost the Pitt game, but his teams weren’t constant underachievers like Dana’s. He also had a backup QB ready to play when his starting QB went out.
RR teams did overachieve.
DH teams dont really underachieve. Talent wise in the B12 we finish how we are expected.
The Skylar Howard team drastically overachieved.
DH couldn't even get us to the Alamo Bowl with Grier at QB in a year when the Big 12 is down, way down.

It's not because of the team we had. He predicted 8-4 because you can give Dana Alabama's team and he'd go 10-3 at best. He's an awful head coach, good coordinator but cannot win big games.
This was the first year we had some comparable talent to the top of the league. If you want to win conference titles you need that talent every year......you cant have it every 4 years and expect to hit the mark.
Quite true. Had we actually played defense against OU and OSU, we would be playing tomorrow night
Head coach = person in charge of all aspects of the team. DH is still over his head even after eight years. What a waste of money and energy.
