Looking at the top RPIs. There’s a lot more western teams than Eastern. Looks like this could be the year Grimsley goes East. Would be very interesting

yep top 48 teams is the cutoff then determine the 24 East and 24 West

There are 22 "normal" western teams in the top 48. With right now's RPI (9/24) Purnell Swett and Richmond would be West. There would need to be 4 more Western teams below 48 that would have to move up to push Grimsley to the East.

1. Weddington
2. Grimsley
3. Lake Norman
4. Marvin Ridge
5. Davie
6. Reagan
7. AL Brown
8. Hopewell
9. Butler
10. East Forsyth
11. Page
12. Hickory Ridge
13. Mooresville
14. West Cabarrus
15. Purnell Swett
16. Porter Ridge
17. Parkland
18. Independence
19. McDowell
20. Ballantyne Ridge
21. RJ Reynolds
22. Richmond Senior
23. South Iredell
24. North Meck

Page would go East before Grimsley. Pull up a map and take a look.

Mooresville will make they're way back... They will benefit from a very strong Outer Conference Schedule ...

If Fayetteville area and Durham area are East, then 26 of the top 48 teams are Eastern teams. I do not see Grimsley going East.
