I confess that I will always believe in my boys, even when the evidence indicates the contrary, but ...

Northwestern at home
Minny on the road
Hoosiers at home and
Purdue on the road

Despite our performances to date, we still have a legitimate shot at winning those 4 games and will be favored in at least 3 of the 4.

Northwestern will bring a salty defense to Lincoln this next weekend, but also brings a broken running game and an inept Hunter Johnson.

Minny has played a ton of close games but has found a way to win. Their strong run game, improved passing game and solid defense will be a true test. We will need Adrian returning to his potential form to win in Minneapolis.

IU will have a strong offense to put up points against us, but I like our chances in the running game that week.

Purdue was a lot more daunting at the beginning of the season, but their defense has not been good and their offense has really taken a step back without Blough. Yet, this will still be a tough game when facing a division for and a desperate team.

If we head into the Wiscy week 7-2 with home games against Wiscy and Iowa, we will control our own destiny in the BIG. Would any of us be disappointed being 7-2 at that point with a chance to win the West?

This season is not lost just because we were outclassed and outplayed against a vastly superior team last night. Have faith my friends and cheer for our boys to get this season straightened out.

NW and IU are must wins if we want to go bowling. No reason right now to believe this team can go into Minnesota and Purdue to win on the road.

Minnesota is the only game I question winning on the road..

I mean it’s possible. Minnesota and Purdue are far from world beaters. But until, Frost instills some discipline(if ever) with his teams...winning on the road is going to be tough.

Of course that is provided we take care of the turnover bug we have..

I could see us winning all 4 and I could also see us losing 3 of 4. I have a hard time seeing us losing all 4 although I guess it could happen. This team is so erratic it's hard to predict. We have some talent, not top tier but better than we play.

7-2 before Wisconsin?? Have you watched us play this year? Let’s worry about Northwestern.

A win at Purdue may be more probable than some of the other schools. Minnesota will be most challenging.

Purdue is beat to dust. They may have a RS Frosh starting and no Rondale. They also lost their best defensive player for the year in Bailey.

I could see 7-2. But they’ll have to dig in and get a damn identity on offense. I could see them playing inspired ball now. They’ll want to make something out of this season instead of folding

It’s possible and realistic, but not easy. NW and Minnesota will be more physical than Nebraska is...much more. Indiana will be a track meet. Purdue may not win another game

With how we've played so far, all of these games are tossups. If we don't get any better we're going to lose 2 or 3 of these games. I hope we pull out 3 wins out of this group. All four I just don't see.

We will make Hunter Johnson look like Cam Newton.

Not saying that we will beat Minnesota but if they played our schedule they could very easily be 1-4. Hell with there own schedule they could be 0-4 right now. I give them credit for winning the games they have, but they have been unimpressive in doing it.

Amen! I couldn't possibly agree more. We simply must commit to something as our 1st priority (I hope so hard it's going to be good running game). Success being a jack of all trades is almost impossible.
