Great job all the way around by the lacrosse program. Keep up the great work. Developing a signature style, great recruiting, and the team delivers on game day.
Upstream, Red Team! Can't say I know much about lacrosse, but the posts I see on this board have me curious.
This team is relentless. And what's amazing is they lost their All American freshman in preseason and a starting senior. This team is on a mission after being left out of the NCAA tournament last year, when they picked several teams over Rutgers which Rutgers beat (like Johns Hopkins) with a very fine 11-5 record. I don't think this team wants to leave anything to chance with the NCAA this year.
This is the sport in which Rutgers truly was the oft-uttered "sleeping giant." So psyched to see what is happening with it. And they will not have to worry about any committee parsing through every bit of information about their schedule when the time comes.
Now let's see them playing over Memorial Day weekend. Damn I can't wait.

If you like basketball you might also like lacrosse. Lax has a lot of the same elements of basketball mixed in with some football, soccer and hockey. Definitely check it out.
I think lax is basically hockey on grass except hockey has the boards to keep puck in play
