What makes Hunt scary in my opinion is how young they are. Two of their better playmakers are underclassman. If they don't make a deep run this year, I fully expect them to make one next year. Also, I would not be surprised to see Rocky Mount make a run.

Notes After Week 7:

-Southern Nash allowed 54 points last week vs Fike.... it will create interesting matchups for them this week at Hunt and next week at Rocky Mount.

-West Carteret gets destroyed by Havelock.... now has to turn around and host NS-Jax.... Can they bounce back????

-NS-Jax ends Croatan undefeated run......

-Currituck & Northeast Guilford could be an underdog in the 5A East.....

Back 2 Back road games versus TWO very tough conference opponents is a tall task for anyone....

updated going into week 9. Hunt looks like the team to beat. ST.Pauls lost to a really good 71st. NS-Jax might be a dangerous team. Got a tough stretch to close the season. I see Hunt vs St.Pauls for Eastern title right now

Hunt runs a very balanced offense that is going to be tough to stop. I think Rocky Mounts style could give them some problems. Some of the analytic sites still like Havelock, but I feel the winner of the east will come from this list.
