I turned my back to get something and heard the announcers talking about how he’s the perfect transfer for ASU…then they transitioned to talking about how many QBs have transferred and won the Heisman…. THAT is where their minds went?!

As opposed to Heinrich, who continued to try hard and still sucked ***.
Still a redeeming quality of not giving up.

He did look bad last year but he looks much better the little I’ve seen him this year.

I hope Jeff Sims does well at ASU.

A great reminder of how refreshing it is to be plus+ 13 in TO margin at this point in the year compared to last year.
Imagine our W-L record if we even lowered that by a few. Could have surely cost us a couple games.

He stopped preparing week 3

Piss poor body language

Quitter, loser, part of the problem

Horrible teammate
I’m not going to fall on the sword for arguably the worst season-starting qb in husker history - BUT I never saw poor body language or quitting. I also did not hear any reports of him not preparing.

All that said - I’m glad he’s not in Lincoln and I feel much better about our QB room. Not only our starter but also the growth it seems HH has had this offseason.

Kid quit. Simple as that. It was incredibly obvious.

I like Kyle Wittingham, but he probably wishes he had Jeff Sims. Utah's QB situation is a s--- show.

Sims was fuggin awful for us. As bad as any QB in our history. Good riddance.
(On a personal level, don’t know if he’s a good guy or not, I am talking football)

Speaking of former NU QBs Logan Smithers was in for a bit on Thursday night. Some thought he was our best QB when here, well he’s a back up at Jacksonville State. We really lacked QB talent.

Sims sucks, can’t root for his success as I watched him throw a lazy *** interception to Maryland last year when he had a shot to come in, redeem himself snd be a hero.

I don’t think he intentionally sucks. I think you can unintentionally suck and try hard and remain a good person

Why anyone defends this dude is amazing. NU could have done as well snapping the ball to air.

Yes, he was in the toilet mindwise for the big world of Husker football. Lots of pressure & he was definitely not focused. Heck he couldn't snap the ball. Too big for him. I saw him coming.e off the field last nite after scoring a TD & teammates were congratulations all around. I think, good athlete, probably good young man, but big big lights on him & he panicked with the Huskers!

In other ex-Nebraska QB news, Chubba Purdy went 1-1 passing with 18 yards AND 18 yards rushing. QBR of 251 to help the Wolfpack defeat the Oregon St Beavers.

He quit on GT before he came here. After that, I have no clue how he was foisted on is.
You miss the big picture.

HCMR told everyone he was an NFL QB and Gabe Ervin is what the big time RB's look like.
Both were elite talents, remember?
