Lowest scoring game ISU 14 points.

Including OOC
In 9 games never scored less than 35 had an avg of 50.1 / 455 points
9 games Defense gave up avg of 23.3 / 210 points

Crazy....how did we lose 3 games?

This is how...
Those 3 losses we gave up 130 / 43.3
in those 3 games scored 111 / 37.0

0-8 vs OU / Oklahoma State in last 4 years...ouch! vs Texas 3-1, ISU 3-1 / 6-2. The state of Oklahoma has owned us the last 4 years.

56 would have won the game if Grier didn’t hand OU 14 points on fumbles. Our D gave up 45, OU’s D gave up 56.

While I agree that Grier screwed the pooch, it is unlikely that WVU stopped OU on either possession given how the game went. At least we would've had a chance had Grier not fumbled or at least WVU kept them from returning for TDs.

I agree. But then you have to give Sooner defense credit for 14 points so that comes to 42 to WVU D's 45. Pretty close.

Also just watched the highlights and on Grier's second fumble let's give some grief to the 3 WVU linemen who had good chance to recover. Instead looked like a bunch of monkeys trying **** a door knob.

Yes..........the Sooners might have lost the game without the scoop and scopes simply because the game clock was likely to expire before they could score additional touchdowns. Without the scoop and scores the final overall number of points would likely have been lower but the winner might still have been............Oklahoma. Let's get ready for a great bowl victory. I hope we play NC State. We really need to play that game............come out with a victory and possibly a Top Ten final ranking. Warez

Without those scoop and scores WVU probably has 70. One team could not stop the other. Of course if OU doesn't have their 2 turnovers they probably have 73.
