His fine equates to a $250 fine for someone making $50k/year. Just posting that to put the amount into perspective.

Yeah seems excessive for the content.
What ive read in the past is that executives simply can't tweet about players on other teams. A hard line of no communication makes it easy to avoid tampering. Any 1way communication can be potentially interpreted as tampering.

I know a few guys where I work but they work in other states who played in the NFL. They all have said you never know when you were going to get fine for something. One guys said his sock came down while he was on the side line, he was slow in pulling it up. He did not think anything of it and when he went into locker room that next Monday he had a note about the violation. It only cost 3K but still that was for a sock.

Nah. Can’t buy a car with 250 dollars. No matter the ratio to pay 50 k is still 50 k
