I didn't think it would be possible to have top-tier money, open playing time, and all of this be offered to play for the University of Kentucky and not be able to get 5 stars. Honestly, very impressive, Mark.

Arizona has been the favorite for a long time.
Yeah, this is one is a shake down for $$.

How these last few kids land will be interesting.

Williams is as good as done to BYU, he's off the board.

Diggs has been long rumored to AZ to slide in behind Holt. Here is where it gets interesting. Black and Henry don't want to play with each other. Black has been talking package deal with Rosser and Henry says he want to be a "playmaker" at SF, like ball in his hands.

We all know Cal runs the balls through a guard and always prioritizes one. Hog.net or whatever they call it are saying he's got one kid done.

Getting sense that Arkansas may get Black/Rosser and Henry winds up somewhere he can be his diva self. Or Henry goes to Arkansas, and Cal pulls Diggs away from AZ.

All said, Cal isn't getting a super deep class here, 2max, but may have a couple reclasses coming.

We have definitely prioritized Rosser. If Pope can’t get him and if Black really does want to play with him and he whiffs then Pope probably won’t get any top recruits here and that’s sad.

I give him credit for Hampton for sure. His drop just happened to coincidentally be when he commited.
Whether he peaked early or now they under rate him is yet to be seen. Guys who drop like that usually turn out to be not great. Like Dominique Ferguson, he was top 10 his freshman/sophomore year and totally fell off to like the 80’s range. He didn’t do much in college either.

I honestly worry Pope is in a similar place to where he was last year. Where he COULD land certain guys (Millogo, and probably Osurayi) at the moment but isn't taking them because he is chasing Rosser and Uvwo, hoping that is they say no, Millogo and Osurayi will still be available. Then we end up with just Hampton (and knowing Pope's history), a project 3 star or two with Kentucky connections (Noah, Zyon, Potter).

Is 0 - fer like 27 bad?
Come on now we got Milan for a hefty price tag depends on who you talk to for 6-8 million dollars this year..... Then they will throw the Hampton recruitment but that dude's ranking dropped tremendously not long after he verbally committed. Yep Pope is really bad at this recruiting game even with the bank roll he's been given.

Hamptom was interesting because he signed so early - not common these days.

We'll see - Rosser is a NC kid heavily speculated to UNC.

When UK got rolling last night Rupp was loud and electric. Hopefully visitors felt that vibe for an exhibition.
