One of the most respected (and accurate) economic forecasting consortiums is out with its analysis post the second quarter results of 4.1% GDP suggesting the 3rd quarter will be significantly stronger...like 5% GDP! Here's their breakdown and why they are predicting just that.

Trump got dynamic GDP number last quarter-early signs point to next one being better.

excerpt:
The Atlanta Federal Reserve's GDPNow model, which uses available economic data to predict the current quarter's GDP growth, stood at 5% on Thursday, up slightly from an initial estimate of 4.7%. Neil Dutta, the head of US economics at the research firm Renaissance Macro, pointed to data suggesting that the strong initial reading from the Atlanta Fed is likely to hold up"

I just like the fact that while they (Leftists) continue to complain about or worry if Trump shops for his own groceries, Americans are shopping, spending, and earning more money in record numbers! GDP above 5% makes all of their doom & gloom economic forecasting models not even worth the butt ribbon I use to wipe my ***...maybe that's even more valuable because at least it does a reasonably accurate job![winking]

That Atlanta Model showed the first quarter being 5+ too. And the 2nd quarter. We'll see.

From the very article you linked:

"Dutta said it was "unlikely that we'll get 5% for the third quarter"

No one gets it exactly right, and they didn't say it WILL be 5%, they predicted that based on the numbers they're seeing now it could be that high. It's a fact the numbers are clearly far above whatever Democrat Leftist malcontents such as yourself expected or hoped. Shut up Coop you fraud.

Your thread title said 5% was probable and then linked an article that said it was unlikely. Great stuff.

...and averaged about 1.9%[winking]
I'm not claiming GDP was stellar under Obama, but his average GDP was over 1.9% and on par with Trump's GDP numbers so far. Trump could end up better or worse, time will tell. Just getting a kick out of everyone pretending it is currently better than Obama.

The Great Recession was a meat-cleaver on the economy. Since then, the U.S. has struggled to grow at much more than 2% a year under President Obama.

Show me where I said that.

You lie so much and are so phony and disingenuous, honestly I wouldn't know where to begin to look it up Coop. However, I'm 100% positive most of you folks on the Left in your impotent attempts to dismiss Trump's economic performance to date insist this is nothing more than the after effects of Obama's stellar economic performance which I might remind you is THE WORST of all U.S. Presidents of the modern era. He's dead last Coop in case you weren't aware?

Why do you deny your heritage Coop? That's like me denying I'm Black when country or one of the other racists on the Left accuse me of not being total 100% Negro! Stand up my man...adopt and embrace your Socialist calling Coop...follow your hero!

I'm not a leftist. It's why I hate this admin's spending and trade policies. Government picking and choosing winners. Speaks volumes that you are OK with them.

A historically inaccurate initial reading is your basis for saying 5% growth is probable. lol. Even though the experts said it was unlikely. Great work

I'm quoting the "experts". You're blaming me for them being always wrong Coop? So why didn't you attack the so called "experts" who predicted Hillary would win in '16 in a "landslide"?

Oh, I forgot...she did win the popular vote right Coop?[eyeroll]

The experts quoted said it would not be 5%. A first look algorithm, that is notoriously wrong, is what you are quoting. Read past the headline.

A wall is cheaper than giving free health care, education, housing, food, driver licenses and Democrat voter registration cards to illegal aliens Coop.

Well Coop I don't know what it's going to be...I really don't. Neither do they. What I do know is you Democrat Leftist anti-Trumpers don't have a clue how to make it any better than whatever it will end up being.

All you frauds will do is complain it's not because of Trump. Shut up already!

OK Coop...who on your side is for that? You're giving me a headache with your fake *** support for fiscal accountability and smaller Government driven by free markets and lower taxes.

You're trying too hard Coop...just stop!
