I wonder if Colandrea would be eligible for another year if it passes this year. This will be his fourth year.
It is SHOCKING that the NCAA did not make it count for dudes that just graduated...because of course that would have made no sense. Which means it seems like something they would have done.
Wait 30 minutes for the first injunction to hit.
As well it should be. Redshirt not being able play in any games was just cruel.

Yep.when one of these bozos that doesn’t have a degree yet or no job or no direction they are going They will want to come back.
I'd rather see a 4 for 4 rule. Especially now with the transfer portal and not having to sit out a year if you transfer, and NIL. College athletes should just have 4 years period.
Oh great. Cam Lenhardt can come back for a 5th unproductive year.

There were JV teams back in those days. Much different time.
I really don’t wanna see anyone over the age of 23 playing college football. It’s a fuching joke.
Or the NCAA could make the 5th year contingent on either getting your bachelor's degree by the time your 5th season starts or being on track to get it by the end of your 5th season. That might provide athletes with more incentive to stay in one place and make progress toward a degree, rather than just being on a quest to stay eligible.
I don't really care what happens with this 5-for-5 deal, all I'm saying is their decision to punk the current class of seniors seems pretty punitive compared to everyone on either side of the chronology. I never assume that I know all of the facts or arguments, but on it's face it looks like a slam dunk injunction.
Does this mean this fall senior class in volleyball will all return for a 5th year?
Great can't wait to see more records get broken by players who are half the players who put up those career stats. But who just have more years to play *sigh*.
