5-7 bowl game

Anybody hear anything on the possibility of getting a bowl game at 5-7. Somebody posted that there were 40 bowl games and I have no idea if there are 80, 6 win teams. I can think of 1 or 2 minor bowls that would not mind having 5-7 Nebraska vs USC.

I think it would really help going into the Iowa game if the team knew, win this and go to a bowl.

By the way, I graduated from Nebraska but have been in Iowa city and on the Iowa campus. It's a beautiful place, reminds me of Nebraskas east campus. If I had not gone to Nebraska that would have been my 2nd choice of where to go.

There isn't a team in the country that would want to play us. It would be a lose/lose for any team

There are 78 slots to be filled. Before this week of games, 64 of those had been filled. 20+ teams had 5 wins and 10ish teams had 4. Not sure how many 5 win teams got their 6th this weekend, but I know a few did. If they do need to dip into the 5 win teams to fill spots, we will need a lot of help. I have a spreadsheet at the office I’ll be updating tomorrow and I can post what has to happen, unless someone else beats me to it.

Basically, we need a miracle.

Riley first team was lucky going bowling. It’s not going to happen this year so let Iowa be for all the season ending marbles..
