Also good luck to our Stuart Cramer boys golf team. They have a 2 shot lead on Fred T Foard going into the final day of the state championship today. Our boys are trying to go back to back with no seniors on this team. They are impressive.

That is really impressive. I hadn’t kept up with any of the other classifications. We had a Cramer kid birdie the last 4 holes to shoot 64 today to win the Indy. Cramer won the team. 4 juniors and a sophomore so will be trying for 3 in a row next year.

I do wanna give a huge shout-out to Brian Buttrick for Burns. A freshman pitcher starting a 3rd round game giving up 2 unearned runs and 7 strikeouts in 5 fantastic innings. That's big for a 9th grader.
We had a great effort by our starter tonight too. Giving up a 3 run bomb in the first and then just bulldogging (no pun intended) the next 5 innings….he was strong tonight. Getting down 3 runs in the first is tough but our kids did a great job of chipping away.
I saw that kid in person the first game against you guys. He is really good now and has the potential to be exceptional.
Last score I saw was West Stanly 3-1 in the 5th
Yes, your starter did a good job of not losing his composure early. Good team, played with class. We needed to string a few more hits together throughout the game and just didn’t.
Hate it for our boys, there were some good leaders that played their last high school game.

I wasn’t at the game, but have spoken with a friend that was there and he raved about the class from the Pisgah fans. He said it was head and shoulders different than the last two years at Tuscola. He also said something about some Tuscola fans getting thrown out for yelling at the Pisgah players.
Tuscola fans are a different bunch I can tell you that. They came to Burns last year and well..... They are different let's just say
It was some Tuscola students, maybe ball players, that were down the left field line yelling obscenities. The cops moved them to another section of the field. I didn’t hear anything personally but it held the game up for 5 minutes getting things settled down.
I will give a shout out to our conference. With Cherryville winning tonight, I think we are the only conference in the state with 3 teams still alive.

Out of pure respect for my buddy Stormsurge I will not make any predictions for Friday night other than to say that Burns and Cramer should be absolutely packed out and a fantastic ball game. Can't wait for it. Burns will have to bring their absolute best to get past Cramer
It’s ok, make predictions. Nothing wrong with thinking Burns is going to win. They have been a premier baseball program for the last several years. Also I want to see who you think will win between West Stanly/Lincoln Charter. How about SP/Crest and N Lincoln/East Rowan, who you like in those.
I do agree the atmosphere will be electric and I am looking forward to the trip to Lawndale on Friday and then again on October 2nd.
I dunno I really like Lincoln Charter. They are a very good team and are actually who put us out in the 4th round last year. But much like Burns they'll need to be on their A+ game. But I'm gonna say Lincoln Charter.
Crest and South Point I like Crest. Pitching & power. They had that hiccup against us a couple weeks ago but they've been firing in all cylinders since and hit 5 HRs last night. So give me Crest.
And then give me North Lincoln.
I could see you going 3-0 or 0-3, that is what makes it so much fun when it gets to this point of the playoffs.
On a side note this Neeses scare might steer me to the bologna sandwich on Friday instead of the Livermush.
Oh trust me I know. Between me and my son we went through (2) Livermush (2) bologna and (1) cheeseburger on our last visit. Before I take too much grief, he ate 3 of them
With Nick unable to pitch with the inflammation it definitely helps Burns but that doesn't mean we win. It's just one less thing to prepare for. I know he will still hit but on the mound he is tough. I don't believe we had Max Davis the last two matchups so that helps depth. I am going with Burns but man this will be a battle. I look forward to this one.
Should be a lot of fun and everything you said is correct about our guy. Hate he can’t go but the other guys have done a great job of stepping up.

I'm not sure honestly. It won't be Buttrick since he started Tuesday. We have Camp, Davis & Bralley all available.
We are in the same boat with 3-4 that could start for us.
Wouldn’t know for sure and just guessing, the concession stands over in Cleveland Couny probably use Mack’s or Jenkins livermush. That’s where these two are located. Thinking that Neese’s is over in the Triad area.
