Can’t quite describe what we watched.
Paul never took a perimeter shot the entire game.
Cliff was a non factor at both ends.
Who’d a thunk

It was unwatchable offense .Its a recruiting problem because Rutgers lacks 3 point shooters as well as players that can create and make shots off the dribble.Once again lack of scoring from the bench.
And Pike didnt bring in anyone from the portal but Spencer. This is a classic example of what I said would happen if last years bench players had to play major minutes.

Good point, but I still believe Cam can get it done, if they run an iso for him. They didn't all night. And as I stated in other posts, I DON'T want Caleb taking the last shot or FT with the game on the line. He chokes, like he always did when Geo and Ron were here.

I think when you describe a team as having no shooters and no players that can create you have defined a team with virtually NO OFFENSE. Welcome to Rutgers!

spencer was supposed to be out three shooter but hasn’t in big boy basketball games yet
And I believe he still is. Pike has to run more iso's for him throughout the game. And I certainly trust Cam over Caleb in endgame situations.

Really feels like they thought they could just show up and win that game. Their offense looked completely lost the entire second half
yep. that’s what it looked like to me. we weren’t focused at all. we had a few chances to break it open but turnovers and bad shots from our older players did us in. very disappointing from an older team

This. Just a sloppy, inconsistent performance. Thought we were gonna go on a real run in the 2nd but reverted back to the form of the first ten minutes.

And no one offered him help. He needed to make a pass and get it back and his transfer just ran down the court.

This was the last connected I have ever seen this team
Yes, worst prepared for a team that I can remember. OSU hangover, two days, whatever…all excuses. That’s what scouting is about and you prepare games in advance. We are not a mentally tough team. Tough teams react the exact opposite from Thursday’s debacle. No excuse for yesterday.

Rutgers lacks shooters has been consistent concern in Pikiell tenure. Now it also lacks scorers. Need depth.

Play Simpson more and get him minutes because he has potential as a scorer. He can develop. Hyatt is a streaky shooter but may be an option.
