Total of our scores against OSU, UM, MICH ST. AND PSU for Ash. So. Illinois, Indiana etc can play them tight but we cant stay in the game past the first half of the first quarter. It would be hard for any FBS team to match these totals. Comes down to coaching fellas....I don't think ash is the answer.

Good thing it isn't 442-27. That would be truly embarassing in the media and to recruits. No way Ash would be able to talk around that.

Disagree. Comes down to better players. OSU third and 4th stringers could start at many positions on our team. Now could it be argued that a better coach could also better recruit? Maybe. All I ask is don’t assume we can pay a big time coach and it will automatically change. First we need better horses

How do we get better horses? That seems to be the problem.

We need a smarter coach/coordinators. Even a big time coach would have trouble recruiting here currently.

Need an innovative offensive scheme to make up for the player talent gap.
That is the only way this will work.
Need a scheme that will work with lesser recruits - until we can get better recruits.

As soon as Kill was hired, it was clear Ash would never get it done. Just the wrong mindset.

Unfortunately will have to be like the days of the McCourty Twins, Ray Rice, Eric Fosters etc etc.....

Hidden gems to help get us the wins. Winning will help attract better players which in turn makes winnning a heck of a lot easier.

I truly believe that pro offense and defense coordinators would have trouble with OSU.

OSU cheerleaders would beat us. Thank God they were not dressed in pads.

The question is, how do other middle of the road teams manage to be competitive against The Big Four?

Style of offense, perhaps? We've been trying to make our style work for years but we don't ever have the personnel for it.
