That would be my guess. The only time I think that they should publish it is if it was at a Rivals or Nike camp where it was electronically timed. If it was not at a major camp, I find it hard to believe.

I think in the past, a reporter would ask the player how tall he was, his weight, his 40 time, etc and it just got published. Who knew what was made up, what was hand-timed, and what was electronic...

I usually Google the player's name and "40 time" and see what I find.Generally it pops up at the beginning of a highlight video.

I don't even think kids run 40s in camps anymore. Plus the lying lol. It's very hard to break a 4.4 but half the skill players would claim to do so..

Bryce stai was listed all year at 250 on his profile
Ohio had him at 230 which probably means he is 220
I guess he lost 30 lbs in his senior year
