Not enough firepower from the 4/5 positions to have a shot at it. Also, this is a pretty tough schedule with 4-5 top 10/15 teams. Im pretty comfortable saying we are a Final Four team IF Nick and EJ step up.

This is a good team that might become a very good team. They are getting some preseason top 5 rankings, and that might be fair IMO. But when you say “we got all the pieces” to go 40-0, I have to question how old you are and how much college basketball you have seen. Like all teams, this team has potential strengths and limitations. This team ought to win 30+, and I would be disappointed if they don’t. But this is not a 40-0 team.

1996 Cats went 4 deep with guys who could realistically play the 4/5: Pope, McCarty, Walker, Mohammed.

I think we're fine. We'll have Richards, Montgomery, Sestina, Brooks, and if need be, Whitney at the 4 in a pinch.

Yeah, it would be nice to have another big, but we were pretty thin in 2011 and 2012 as well and turned out pretty good in both seasons.
