4 wins optimistic?

Given the schedule and Kirk’s coaching scared strategy, yeah, overly optimistic.
The problem is it’s impossible to know how good or bad the personnel is because the route trees and concepts are so bad, no one is going to be successful in this offense.
Beth needs to sit down with Kirk after this season and have an uncomfortable conversation with him.
lol how is that conversation going to go? “Kirk can you retire so we don’t have to pay your buy out? We kinda need that extra cash to higher your replacement.”
Well, given that Kirk has put his personal ambitions and attempted to put his son’s coaching career ahead of the Iowa program, you’re probably right.
Probably more than that, but the trajectory of the year has absolutely changed. Losses to Indiana, USC, and Nebraska are nearly guaranteed now. We'll be lucky to go 6-6 this year.
They'll be bowl eligible, but what does that even mean today? With the expanded playoff system, the bowl games are more irrelevant than ever.
If you could gaurentee me 4 wins means change I'd take 4 wins.
Two B1G teams have losses this year. Northwestern and Iowa. This post won't age well.
I still see them finding some way to hit 7 or 8 wins with that service academy passing game they continue to run out on the field.
I'd say 4-8 is a realistic suggestion. Look at that schedule and see where you can find more than 4 wins given another ludicrous excuse for an Iowa offense. You can't. Nobody can.

We could have just watched two teams that will play in the CFB playoffs this season. Let's step back from the ledge and let the season play out. Remember, State has one game more in practice and preparation than our Hawks and an experienced returning QB. While Gronowski is experienced, he's only had what, five weeks of practice in this offense?
