Already have the top rated recruits from Nebraska, Kansas and S.D. Blaise is 3rd in Iowa. Might as well lock down another state's best. GBR
Kirk's riding out the last couple years of his lifetime contract, and NU is hitting local recruiting in a big way. No team may be more affected by these turn of events than Iowa, which can ill afford to lose more battles in Midwest recruiting. I have no idea whether Iowa is after this particular player or not, but just speaking generally.
Our official visit will either make or break this with Johnson. He was all Minnesota and Wisconsin but since his unofficial he had during that BBQ weekend...Huskers have definitely gotten ourselves into the picture now. Like you said, he loves Ruud, Chin and the early playing time opportunity he has with the Huskers. The unofficial made a huge impression on him...now we need to kill it on his official and finish this thing off. Could be Henrichs number 2 for the second straight year (a LB that’s just outside the top 100 that was a Wisconsin lean)...GBR
I also read that he was really impressed with the fan support... that bodes well. Not sure what Minnesota or Wisconsin spring game attendance was, but I’m pretty sure we beat it.

It’s been said on Huskersonline.com he wants an official with the Huskers. The rest of the stuff is things I read about him. On Rivals Huskers are now leading over Wisconsin and Minnesota 50%, 25% and 25%. The rest is common sense. He’s been big time Wisconsin and Minnesota for awhile now. If we cant sale him on the Huskers during his official...we won’t get him. End of story. So I don’t get the take it down comment or any of the rest. All it is, is reading articles about Kaden Johnson. Pretty simple.

I think he's waiting for a helmet offer. If Notre Dame or OSU or whoever doesn't come knocking after his first few games, I think he'll commit to UW. That's why it's the only official he took and why "he's thinking" about officials to the rest. If he wanted to official he'd set one up.

Tell that to Sean Callahan and Bryan Munson. They both have him picked as a Husker. There’s even an article on Kaden Johnson wanting to visit the Huskers officially...so Huskers are very much in the picture.
My guess, they want to visit during game time. Huskers bread and butter. Two, Kaden has stated he’s in no hurry. Again, it’s on several new articles about him. Ones Omaha World Herald I believe. If that helps any.
12 days ago or so there was on article on this very site saying Kaden Johnson wants to officially visit Nebraska. Again, my guess is they will set it up for a game time visit. I couldn’t post it or link it here because it’s paid info...

My guess is that if he's in no hurry to make a commitment before the season starts then how the teams actually perform during the season will have a big influence in his final decision.

As I wrote when @huskerssalts brought this up 2 or 3 weeks ago, there are 4 predictions on this dude, 2 Nebraska writers pick Nebraska, 1 Minnesota writer picks Minnesota and 1 Wisconsin writer picks Wisconsin. Until someone without an allegiance or a tie to a program makes a prediction, it is pointless.

I think you missed the point of my post. KJ's giving everyone different vibes, so screw what he says to reporters and focus on what he's done. We've all seen higher level recruits lead people on (unknowingly, I'm guessing) because they're too nice. It's how UW 247 got acquainted with that NDFarly guy - Graham Mertz was too nice to tell ND "no" and kept saying yeah for sure I'll probably visit, but never did. ND fans ate it up and thought a flip was imminent. OSU fans the same but to a lesser extent.

I don't think this is an issue any longer. The rule used to say that a player could not take an official visit before the first day of classes in his senior year. Benhart wanted to visit for the first game, and that game took place before he started classes at his high school, so he needed a waiver. Since the rule changed and players can now take official visits over the summer, that rule should no longer be an issue.
My apologies, you didn't start this one, and I have no idea if you started the last one. You just wrote almost the exact same thing 2 or 3 weeks ago about how he wants to visit and how Nebraska has a 50-25-25 "lead" in those predictions.
So your issue is a few weeks ago I mentioned Sean callahan and Brain Munson picked the Huskers and I’m now repeating it to a Badger fan that thought the Huskers had no play on Kaden Johnson as way to show him he may be wrong?
