Things aren't looking good. He appears to be making a lot of Indiana noises.

Seems like he would probably be an Indiana lean if he's committing after visiting them last weekend.

Wait, it was said on here that a player could not be highly ranked if they didn't weigh enough. No light weight 4* players.

I heard we cooled after we found out an Indiana bag man paid his mom to sway his decision to commit to Indiana. Our coaches were already considering pulling his offer due to him being undersized and the fact he didn't want to work for his chance to play here. I think I covered most of them.

This sucks. The kid is good. And we need corners.
Can this lousy start to the season start to turn already and give us some good news?
These are my sentiments as well. Seeing through the smoke and mirrors and the "cooling on him", I think we lost this recruiting battle. But hey, we're getting a lot of at bats of kids who are at least curious and intrigued enough to be a fit at Nebraska. What I can say is that I still really like Travis Fisher.

Indiana is 2-0 right now. We couldn't beat a mid-pac 12 team. I had a thought today- could UCF last year have beaten this year's CU team? Be careful how you answer that if you do.

Who cares about rating...look at his offers...absolutely garbage offers...and me thinks he was a carry over from Frost's UCF days. His best offer was us by far but we don't know if Frost's ideology fit with his mentality. I mean Coach Fischer could have said we will recruit to replace you and he could have had second thoughts. Our coaches are not "sweet" talkers at all. Our coaches are not recruiters, they are not convincers, they are opportunity providers. In their minds they are offering the kids a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of special program, and to learn how to be a man and compete at all things, and strive for excellence. Many kids want to have fun, play football, become millionaires in the NFL. As far as I can tell that is not Frosty's pitch.

While I wanted this kid, let’s try to remember that this kid is a 5’-10” CB that weighs 165 lbs. He is not starting for any decent Power 5 team next year. He has potential but he is truly a 4* project.

I didn't realize that getting offers from TCU, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Louisville and Kentucky were absolute garbage offers.

We want kids that get offers from Florida, Florida St, Miami, Ohio St, Penn St. Georgia

Which kid would you want with the same type of skill set.

Well, someone needs to tell this to the coaching staff.

4 of those teams are known for sketchy recruiting policies and currently are pretty poor programs...so no I do not want a kid who has that list.

Yes and No. Of course we want top talent, but Frost has made it crystal clear this is a 'We' team, not a 'Me' team.

The size doesn’t matter, question is does he turn around when the ball gets thrown his direction? I swear we haven’t had a corner play that way since Dennard and it drives me up the wall.

Yeah I loved the way our defensive backs played under Marvin Sanders. They were always aware where the ball was. Ever since then our corners just stare at the receiver and have no clue where the ball is.
