So this dude is a Florida State commit who's second choice was State. It seems to me like other fan bases are way better at interacting with recruits on Twitter than we are, so might I suggest we all send some love and positive encouragement his way and let him know how much we would appreciate him coming to State.

We don't need to point out that Florida State is a dumpster fire, I'm sure he's well aware.

And no, nobody go tweet at recruits. They aren't going to make a recruit change his decision and it's creepy and AGAINST NCAA RULES!

If you’re in school, go for it. I won’t do it. Also, there is nothing worse than the old white guy that tweet teenage black kids they don’t know with slang to try to relate. There are some OM guys who do it and it’s cringeworthy

Considering the entire FSU football team has quit and will probably transfer he is pretty much guaranteed immediate playing time

Our very own starting QB put out a tweet this past summer imploring fans "DO NOT TWEET TO RECRUITS, LET THE COACHES DO THEIR JOB".
I have a screenshot on my phone but too lazy to go transfer it here but I use it often when on mobile and fans start creeping on prospects.

Literally nobody needs to do this. It’s very dumb and extremely creepy. I’m on twitter too much and the type of person you see croot teeetin is no the person you want to be.

There are way too many fans who want to be known as "inside information guys". They get a kick out of having people think they are in touch with the inside. Very few people know anything and those who do don't know nearly as much as they claim. I know, I was on the inside for 2 years and there were some kids not discussed in staff meeting, most of the time they were the higher profile recruits. The HC met with the recruiting coach and discussed what was going on. I'm sure its still that way. There was one particular fan that Sherrill said, and I quote, "if I hear another word about recruits coming out of his mouth the person providing the information to him will be fired", nothing else was said and that guy lost his info line. He was a pretty big fan at that time. He couldn't be quite because he wanted to be known as a guy that had connections and he lost all of his perks for that very reason.
