I don’t get the hype around this quote. I just watched the presser and it was a basic question about DR and he answered. “Folk hero”???? No.
30 seconds of video is way more important than whatever it is EJ is seeing. Clearly.
Glad he didn't finish it with:
"Like the fat kid, that gets picked last on the playground".
Hopefully Jacob Hood and Turner Corcoran improved immensely. Anyone know how Micah Mazzcua is doing?
it was an exaggeration because most coaches never address individual QBs, especially freshmen, when there is a QB battle going on.

I don't think much importance should be given to individual quotes at a single presser about any individual player. What's much more important to me is that the Offense apparently had a very good scrimmage with all 3 QBs against what should be a tough defense. That's the thing I focused on.
Obviously some vets on BOTH sides of the ball. And that likely also was the case earlier in the Spring practices when the defense dominated.
I think they've been doing so much to take the focus off DR everyone is a little tired of it so this was a nice change.
