We've heard all excuses, the roster sucked, total rebuild, wait until Frost gets his guys, yadda yadda.

We can't get out of our own way. We have no idea how to play a clean game without false starts, holding that is blatantly obvious, you name it.

We can't tackle and our basic technique in most positions is awful. Can we score from the 15 in? My goodness we are terrible close to the goal line.

So what is the excuse now? We are just not a very good football team.

This offense has no strengths and he's supposed to be an offensive mastermind of a coach. Only people he's outsmarted consistently is his own team.

I can’t imagine he survives many more 4 wins or less seasons with no improvement. They can’t even complete a deep pass. I don’t see the aggressive offense Frost was supposed to bring from UCF.

The Huskers are inept. False start penalties, bad play calling in the red zone and the D (played much better at times) gives up on the necessary yardage too often on 3rd down. No continuity. It looked to me like the players were bitching amongst themselves on the sideline. Have the coaches lost them already? What were those plays when the Huskers got the ball down near the 5 yard line and McCaffrey threw an INT?

Liberty just won at Va Tech and are undefeated and ranked in the top 25....how is Liberty MUCH better than Nebraska at football

The losses to teams that clearly have more talent are one thing. But Nebraska finds a way to lose to any team that isn’t just butt-ugly awful.

We had 2nd half drives of 67, 70, and 78 yards that produced 0 points. Our only TD drive covered 3 yards.

We look like confused little kids out there.

Why you wouldn't attack their two DTs who are barely 6' and 300lbs is just concerning. Could have ran it down the gut every play for 5 yards

that’s what 5.6 3* gets you. Can’t fix Gods physics. Over 60% of this next class of that same kind.
Our defense is our strong suit. And there’s 7 SR and 4 JR starting. 4 more years of rebuilds unless a few 3* were diamonds in the rough. LOL!!

Enough is enough. We don’t have to wait to play the perfect game to win. Frost is a bottom tier B10 coach. Results don’t lie.

This coaching staff has continually played to the opponents level. Can’t make any adjustments. Who knows where we go from here. 9-17 record. 6-14 in the big 10.

The play calling in the 2nd half two minute drive wasn't very good. Why are we running 4-6 yard curl routes not even close to the sideline?

Even though he is tarnished, they have a pretty damn good coach. Thus far, we do not.

The cute fake jet plays were abysmal. Northwestern when to automatic man responsibilities whenever they saw the motion and it was obvious it wouldnt work.
We should have just given three straight run plays to mills inside the two. No cute fake jet crap.
stretch, power, dub. We score no matter what.
Mills was pissed and should have been.

Here's where I lose my ability to understand these losses. When was the last time that we didn't lose to teams with lesser talent? Pelini, I guess. But in general, we have consistently underperformed for 20 years, we have consistently been a sloppy, error prone team for 20 years. The only thing that's consistent over the past 4 coaching staffs is our inconsistency.

Frost isn't going anywhere for two reasons. First, Moos isn't going to get fired during the era of Covid. We need stability at the helm right now for the entire program not just football. If you fire Moos you have to do a search for a new AD which will cost us money to buy out Moos. Not going to happen. Second reason is the same. We can't fire a coach who will get a huge buyout in a time of budget crisis. Let's face it - - Frost is not going anywhere. So we need to stop this call for Frost to be fired because it ain't gonna happen. We just need to stay the course and hope Frost can figure this out and turn it around. I doubt he does. Which sucks. We are just screwed folks if Frost cannot get it done.

We simply don’t have that. Not sure where we find it, possibly McCaffrey.

I didnt see anyone say fire frost. Everyone gets that he’ll be here for awhile. Its just apparent we wont be competitive under him.

Thanks, I needed that laugh. Let’s be real, Frost has had one good year as a HC and Milton ain’t walking thru that door. Frost is not going to wake up tomorrow and all of a sudden become a good power 5 HC. We are screwed and will have to watch Frost piss his pants for the foreseeable future.

facts our this offense doesn't work in the BIG... when your in Florida and have speed and go against bad defenses every week yah it looks good but the BIG is a different beast and frost can't figure out what works but when you have about 1 penalty on every drive or a turn over it's harder to make calls

And good leaders can build a winning mindset quickly. We expect to lose...and more often than not, we do.

His offense was supposed to attract quality QB talent. Well you get what you pay for Northern Iowa talent evaluators. Time for Frost and Verd to quit being pretenders.

I can promise you this. After this year, if we continue to see this same crap, he will be going somewhere in a couple of years.

All of our QBs are top notch talent, dunno what youre smoking.

I have been very quiet on here for a while.....But this piece o' incompetent crap that we witnessed today pushed me to comment. I never thought in year 3 I would still feel as frustrated... and actually let down by THE FROST.

Yes, I know like it or not we are stuck (and mean STUCK in a bad way) with Frost and company for at least a couple more years. This is quite possibly the worst case of over-paying for a coach. There is tremendous coaching void on this team....no one can call an offensive play off-script (Frost is horrible at play calling even though he is an "offensive genius")....no one apparently knows how to adjust at half-time....not one coach apparently is able to get this team motivated. The one area of improvement is defense....but you can't hang your hat on that because it was so bad to start.

7, 7, 27, 13, 31, 21, 24, 17, 13 our last 9 point totals against the BIG defenses minus 42 Illinois and the Maryland blow out 54... how can we win anything when we average 15 points a game... hell st marys school for the blind and deaf would only be a slight under dog to us
