It's been defense in the second MIC had it on the Mitchell 17 but turned over on downs then Mitchell 3&out , then MIC went for it on their 35 4th&2 and didn't get it and Mitchell RB Pittman scored from the 25 Mitchell 22 MIC 8. Mitchell kicked an onsides kick and got the ball and still driving around 5 minutes left in game.
EW is punishing Corvian.. win or lose.. they are physically punishing Corvian!

I think Murphy beats corvian next week. Gutted for the East Wilkes kicker I hope he holds his head up high. Good season for them.
I am very impressed with Murphy. They are going to tough for anybody to beat east or west.
Murphy just drained 11 mins off the clock with that drive and scored. 48-20. Clem with 7 TDs I think.
Clem with another score.. that’s 8Tds (Murphy record) and over 350 yds rushing. Murphy up 54-20. He broke Willie browns record (who had over 450 yds and 7TDs (in the first half)). Congrats Cameron Clem.
Per the NCHSAA record book that puts him in a seven way tie for second all-time for touchdowns in a single game by an individual player in state history.
Edit-six way tie for the state record for most rushing TDs in a game by one play.

No way. Tarboro is. I think Murphy just heard all the noise this week how CSOD put up over 60 on swain and if they can stop their passing attack. Think dogs showed they could. Completely shut them out in 2nd half. cSOD only had 3 possessions in second half.
I hope yall follow it up next week. Pulling for the Dogs!
I think Murphy is the favorite in the west now for sure. I had seen some comments on social media from community fans saying they'd beat Murphy. That aged horribly
