Watagua by 28 Parkland 7... calling for snow I believe. Not a good place to be for parkland

im not convinced about watauga yet. no offense to those guys up in boone at all. they always play us tough when we do play them.from what the asheville posters say parkland has a ton of speed.i think that will be the thorn in wataugas side. im taking parkland 24 17. weddington 24 s iredell 21 erwin i think has an outstanding chance in this game warriors 37 m tabor 27. reynolds 35 sun valley 31. good luck to all our mountain teams friday night. Calling for snow Friday in Boone. Parkland would need one heck of a defense to hold the pioneers to only 17 points. Watauga makes up for speed with disciplined assignment football.
i agree with the home field advantage for watauga. but home field only gets you so far.
All I'm saying is no one has been able to stop wataugas offense, what makes you think parkland, who have up a ton of points this year, can? Do you feel that Reynolds should have been the 1 seed instead?
Watauga earned it but they are not invisible. The two best teams they played this season were Alexander Central and Freedom. I can't speak for Freedom but I watched Alexander Central last week and Erwin beat the brakes off of them. Reynolds did the same to Erwin. I would be be shocked if any of the teams in 3AA west come out of this. Weddington has to be favorite though from their past

There's no question parkland played the tough . Demographically that's the type of schedule available to them. Watauga had a home and home with tc roberson, who was good last year, not so much this time around. Alexander central was ranked and undefeated when Watauga beat them. Watauga has shut down every offense it's played except for Hickory, who has a very good schematically minded coach. No team has been able to hang with that offense. I've said it before and I'll say it now, if a team beats Watauga they're the better team and deserve it. Holistically, this is the best team I've seen in my lifetime.

Doss it’s hard to go against the Breitenstein team that was a game away from making it to the 4a Championship game.
I drove up to watch the Alma mater..that midline option is lethal if you aren't disciplined..it was 14 to 0 Parkland and then it became a fight..parklands soeed gave watauha issues but they held parkland to 6 points after halftime..satterfield had a 97 yarder in his onslaught..he showed decent speed..congrats to the Pioneers..
