They try to not let that happen, but sometimes they cannot prevent it.

That is why Kannapolis is seeded higher than Central Cabarrus. Kannapolis MaxPrep rating is higher then C.C.

I think if it was between the two teams making the playoffs the higher conference finisher would get in first, however if both make the playoffs as a wildcard then AMPR seeds them.
