You are off by a mile lol
You seed the #1 teams then the rest are wild cards.

Seeding​

  • Conference champions will be seeded before any other qualifying teams by RPI rating
  • All other teams will be seeded after the conference champions by RPI rating of the school, regardless of conference finish
  • Each region (East/West) will be seeded independently of one another, utilizing the RPI rating of the school

So even though Ledford finished 4th, they’ll still be seeded higher than Oak Grove and CD? I thought you couldn’t be seeded higher than someone you finished behind in your own conference, or is that not a thing anymore?

You can't be seeded higher than a conference champion, but you will seeded higher than any other other team with a lower RPI. So Ledford will be seeded behind ND, but ahead of OG and CD.
