I didn’t think Will was the problem. His big mistake was REALLY big, but outside of that he played well enough to win. And with the Air Raid you have to be able to overcome one interception.

Without the turnovers and penalties we probably cover the spread.

Good to be analyzing the mistakes after a win for sure.

The first game of the season is just that, the first game of the season. They'll get alot of that crap cleaned up. Teams like LaTech are going to be (even more) pesky going forward because they are a nice landing spot for transfer portal players that want to play right away. I think they had a transfer from UT that took one to the house?

Will was the least of our problems today.

Our OL performance in the 1st half is as bad as you will ever see an SEC team get dominated at the LOS by a G5 team.

Every time we started moving the ball, we would take a hatchet to our foot by getting a penalty or fumbling the ball.

I was expecting it to look kind of clunky today, but execution has to get way better in a hurry.

That pick six he threw was almost as bad as those other stats are good. He still holds the ball too long, is afraid to cut it loose, and checks down too much. This offense is much better with a gunslinger at QB than a guy who's afraid to take chances down the field.

But I'm glad we pulled it out. If we play 50% better next week than we did tonight, we will only lose by two TDs.

I don’t think they’re pass blocking OL. I’m sure the coaching staff is doing their best to transform them, but they’re a bunch of maulers playing on their heels. Gonna take a few years to get the correct personnel in.
